Distrust of God's Word is the original, fatal and basic problem.
God's plan is to walk in union with man; have fellowship, and communion with us, and have us be intimately aware of Him and His Presence.
God came down and walked with Adam in the cool of the evening. He heard God's presence (the Breeze) and heard His voice.
As the song from the sixties said “we need to get back to the Garden” in our knowing of God.
God created us in His image. He originally made us as close to Himself as He could. He breathed into us His Spirit, the 'pneuma' or breath of God at creation.

Adam and Eve were to fill the earth as a sign of the miraculous provision of God. They were to fill the earth with the garden of Eden-Paradise.
They were to disregard the way the earth looked outside of the Garden of Eden, and begin to take over and “bring into subjection” to their dominion the earth. God gave them authority, a command to do this.
All the world was to become Eden, subject to man's control because of their relationship with God.
We are made in Gods image, and He wants us to be in a real relationship with Him.
God is and always has been looking for lovers and friends. Those who would draw near to Him, trust (to act) His Word and live as His people. Filled with His Spirit.

Trust of God's Word is our Faith.
From the beginning we have been given Promises that appear to good to be true.
Take over the earth and bring Eden wherever you go.
The fall in the garden was brought about by mistrust of God's Word.
Gold had given everything into man's hand. Adam was entrusted with God's creation, and everything was under his control. Adam was not deceived, but Eve was. Adam gave up control of the world to the Adversary/Satan when he willingly ate the fruit of the 'tree of the knowledge of good and evil.'
Adam knew what he was doing.. he willingly ate after Eve explained what she had done. Listening to Satan causes us to fall from Eden, then want others to fall also. This pattern still remains today.
When someone is living wrongly, they often look for your okay or you to do the same sin. If they can get you to agree with their actions it lessens the conviction of the Holy Spirit. This is why our actions can cause others to fall. We are held responsible to God and others when we know the Truth. Never agree with sin, but reprove those who need correction, not with anger but with love as God has also been gentle to teach and correct you. Amen.
Praise God that Jesus became the second Adam, and has made us a new creation. A new man, no longer under the fall, but restored to newness of life with God's Eternal Life in us. Not lost in sin but restored to fellowship with God Himself. Emmanuel-God With Us-

Same word “knew”-- meaning to be intimately acquainted with.
Our God all three persons of the Godhead want to be intimately acquainted with us. Jesus promised us that if we would open up our door, THEY would come in and eat with us.

This is God's Word of truth, His Promise, His Spirit, Christ in us.

This friendship with God is two-way. It takes us to make time to hear and become intimately aware of Him, filling us and the places we are in. His presence brings His Glory.
The only condition we have fulfill to share in His lifestyle, is to believe and trust in His Word. We are expected by God to have confidence in what He said. When we apply the Words of Life to our lives, then we will overcome the outside effects of this fallen world around us. We will bring Eden with us, and cause the earth to become subject to our authority in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Jesus gets glorified when we live in victory. We have a testimony of God's provision, goodness, and healing power at work in us and through us. When we see victory on the inside of our being, then we will have victory on the outside.
Satan came into the garden and contradicted God's word.

Satan like to cause doubt about what God has said. Satan always denies or exaggerates the Word of God. Usually together (at the same time) as in
this instance. God didn't say don't eat of every tree of the garden, His restriction was only one tree. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Next thing that was questioned was the result of disobedience.

Nothing has changed in the devils bag of tricks., he still uses lies and doubt to keep us from walking into the fullness of the Blessing.
God's Promises are Yes! and AMEN! To those who will believe.
The only requirement is our Faith, our actions, our ability to believe in the
Word of God.

The more we renew our mind to see ourselves as God sees us-- Righteous and
justified by Jesus' atoning sacrifice. Then the more confident we will become
in our standing with God. We will start to recognize God as our Father not
as our Judge, waiting to punish for every wrong thought or action. The
more we see ourselves as free from sin, the less sin has a hold over us.
Grace, not works is from God. Rest, not striving is an attitude of belief.
God's lovers/friends will do more than a thousand servants, who do not
know or understand His Salvation.
You/I personally would do anything, and everything I can to please my
wife. Not because we signed a marriage contract with a list of rules and
regulations outlining her rights and my rights. We never made a contract
of duties that need to be performed everyday in order to be in love. From
our hearts we want to please each other; Love causes us to do things for
each other, not rules.
God so loved..and He is looking for those who will love Him equally strong. To those who will pledge to the death that they will not depart from His
Way. He sends His Love, His Spirit, His Life. Let us rise and SHINE. Amen.
